The ANZCTR now automatically displays published trial results and simplifies the addition of trial documents such as unpublished protocols and statistical analysis plans.

These enhancements will offer a more comprehensive view of trials, regardless of whether their results are positive, negative, or inconclusive.

The safety and scientific validity of this study is the responsibility of the study sponsor and investigators. Listing a study does not mean it has been endorsed by the ANZCTR. Before participating in a study, talk to your health care provider and refer to this information for consumers

Description of intervention(s) / exposure
We will be doing cross-sectional patient surveys with informed consent. The aim of this project is to collate feedback from patients with Multi Resistant Organisms relating to the perception of their care while an inpatient at Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital. The findings will enable us to ascertain if the information currently provided is adequate and appropriate and delivered in a way that is meaningful and useable for the patients. This study will enable us to determine what/if any improvements that can made in our current management of patients with Multi Resistant Organisms.
A trained nurse from Infection Prevention and Management Service (IPMS) will invite patients to participate in an anonymous survey. Patients will be provided with information about the survey and allowed time to ask questions and if providing verbal consent, will be asked complete the survey. A patient survey consisting of 8 questions will be given to participants (6 multiple choice questions and 2 free text questions). Completion of the survey will take 5-10 minutes. The survey is completed once. There is no follow up required for this study. Patients can nominate to have a nurse from the Infection Prevention and Management Service come to talk to them should they have questions relating to their Multi-Resistant Organism infection.
