The ANZCTR now automatically displays published trial results and simplifies the addition of trial documents such as unpublished protocols and statistical analysis plans.

These enhancements will offer a more comprehensive view of trials, regardless of whether their results are positive, negative, or inconclusive.

The safety and scientific validity of this study is the responsibility of the study sponsor and investigators. Listing a study does not mean it has been endorsed by the ANZCTR. Before participating in a study, talk to your health care provider and refer to this information for consumers

Outcomes
Primary outcome [1] 252961 0
comparison of laryngoscopic view with application of cricoid pressure assisted by video scope with cricoid applied without video assistance of person applying cricoid pressure. This is to be done using the Cormack and Lahane grading system that is in common use throughout the anaesthetic community

at time of intubation
Secondary outcome [1] 257699 0
comparison of quality of laryngoscopic view when cricoid is applied compared to prior to application. This is to be done using the Cormack and Lahane grading system that is in common use throughout the anaesthetic community

Summary
Brief summary
This study seeks to determine the effect of application of cricoid pressure on the laryngoscopic view using a cMac video laryngoscope and secondly to assess if whether having the person applying the cricoid viewing the video feed assists in improving the laryngoscopic view.
